AI Content Use Policy
Last updated: May 21, 2026 · Version 1.0
Setless is built for fashion brands to produce commercial product imagery. This policy explains what you can and cannot generate using the Service. It applies to all uploaded content, prompts, and generated outputs. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination without refund. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Scope
This policy governs your use of Setless for:
- Product images you upload as Content;
- Model and Scene assets you create or modify;
- Text prompts and descriptions you provide;
- Images the Service generates on your behalf.
You are responsible for ensuring every input and output complies with this policy and with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction and the jurisdictions of your customers.
2. What you can generate
Setless is purpose-built for these use cases:
- Your own product photography (clothing, accessories, footwear, jewelry, bags)
- Lifestyle and editorial imagery for your own brand
- Lookbook and campaign creative
- E-commerce alternate angles and scene variations
- Social media content featuring your products
- Brand-owned marketing collateral
- Real, identifiable people without explicit written consent
- Public figures, celebrities, or politicians
- Minors in any context
- Sexually explicit, suggestive, or nude imagery
- Brands, logos, or trademarks you do not own
- Violence, weapons, or hate content
3. Models are synthetic — no real people
Every "Model" available in Setless is an AI-generated synthetic persona. None of our House Models depict real individuals, living or deceased.
You may not:
- Upload reference images of real people (including yourself, employees, friends, family, or strangers) for the purpose of generating a likeness;
- Engineer prompts or descriptions to produce a synthetic Model that resembles a specific real person;
- Attempt to create or share a Model that could reasonably be mistaken for a real, identifiable individual;
- Use Setless to produce content that could be classified as a deepfake or non-consensual likeness;
- Upload, request, or generate any imagery depicting a person under 18 years old, regardless of styling or context.
If you need to feature a real person in your marketing, do so outside Setless and only with their explicit written consent to use their likeness for the specific purpose.
4. Product images must be yours
By uploading a Product image you represent and warrant that:
- You own the product depicted, or you have explicit permission from the owner to use the image in this way;
- The product image does not infringe any third-party intellectual property right;
- The product itself does not infringe any third-party trademark, copyright, or design right;
- You have all necessary rights to reproduce, modify, and generate derivative imagery from the product image.
We may remove product images and disable Accounts that violate third-party IP rights upon receipt of a valid takedown notice under the DMCA or equivalent law.
5. Prohibited content categories
You may not use Setless to generate, upload, store, or distribute content that falls into any of the following categories:
5.1 Sexual or suggestive content
Nudity (partial or full), explicit sexual acts, sexualized poses or framings, fetish content, or content intended to arouse. Lingerie and swimwear photography is permitted only in conventional fashion contexts; explicit or sexualized framings of these categories are not.
5.2 Content involving minors
Zero tolerance.We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any content depicting, suggesting, or simulating a person under 18 years of age. This applies to real, fictional, synthetic, edited, or AI-generated imagery. Violations will result in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where required.
5.3 Hate, harassment, and discrimination
Content that promotes or glorifies discrimination, hatred, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics. Use of hate symbols, slurs, or supremacist iconography is prohibited.
5.4 Violence, weapons, and gore
Imagery depicting realistic violence, weapons in active use, blood, gore, or graphic injury. Stylized references to weapons within obvious fashion contexts (e.g., a vintage holster as costume) may be permitted; ambiguous cases should be avoided.
5.5 Illegal activity and dangerous content
Content promoting illegal drugs, illegal goods, terrorism, self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other dangerous activities.
5.6 Intellectual property infringement
Content reproducing trademarks, brand logos, characters, or design marks you do not own or have permission to use. This includes adding visible logos of brands you do not represent to generated outputs, replicating a specific designer's distinctive look in a way that constitutes passing-off, or copying copyrighted artwork.
5.7 Impersonation and deception
Content that impersonates real brands, businesses, or individuals; deepfakes or face-swaps depicting real people; misleading marketing claims; or content designed to deceive consumers about the source or nature of a product.
5.8 Religious, political, and ideological misuse
Content that uses religious symbols, political figures, or political ideology as fashion or marketing devices in ways that are exploitative, offensive, or misleading.
5.9 Public health and safety
Content promoting medical or health products with unverified claims, content depicting fashion in inherently dangerous contexts (e.g., in the middle of a highway), or content that could foreseeably cause harm if imitated.
6. Output ownership and commercial use
